In the Zen Buddhist tradition, zazen (literally "seated meditation") is a meditative discipline practitioners perform to calm the body and the mind and experience insight into the nature of existence and thereby gain enlightenment. This form of meditation uses the breath as the primary point of concentration.
In this introductory course, you'll learn the proper posture for zazen as well as techniques and rituals to focus the mind. Each session will include several sitting meditations and a walking meditation.
